Brief

There are two tasks which we will be assessed on:

1) Preliminary exercise: this is an exercise in continuity. we must film and edit a character opening a door, crossing a room and sitting down in a chair opposite another character. the characters must exchange a couple of lines of dialogue.

2) Our main task is to create the titles and opening sequence of a horror film to last two  minutes.

To make a successful opening sequence:
-Choose fonts for the titles
-Bring in the characters as soon as possible, the audience's main interest will always be in the characters.
-Keep the audience involved.
-Maintain a clear narrative.
